On Thursday 18th August, Salesian held our annual Year 10 Social Evening with Sacred Heart Girls College. Due to the pandemic, this event hasn’t run for 2 years, so we were very lucky to have it proceed in 2022. The evening comprised of a formal dance lesson, conducted by instructors from Waverley Dance Studio, a pizza dinner, followed by a DJ with socialising and dancing for the rest of the night.
The Year 10 Salesian students are to be commended on their behaviour and engagement on the night. They were respectful, sociable and upheld our College Values proudly. A big thank you to all students involved, our superstar Salesian supervisors and everyone else who made the evening possible.

On Thursday 18th August, the Year 10s came together after school for a night to remember. Starting off with the ballroom dancing, the Salesian boys connected with the Sacred Heart Girls for some fun and a little awkward dancing. After the dancing, everyone was craving a piece of pizza and we enjoyed a hearty dinner. Bang! The lights went off and the fun started. DJ Collins was tearing it up on the DJ booth as both the girls and the boys enjoyed a massive disco. The highlight of the night was Bailey Morrison’s ripper dance moves, as a backflip or two was brought out in the middle of a circle. Overall, it was great night that was enjoyed by all, after 2 years of cancellations.
