Today, Festival Day, was a celebration of our College’s vibrant and diverse people and culture. The day began with a Smoking Ceremony and Acknowledgement of Country, guiding us into the flag procession, which displayed the dozens of countries and cultures represented at our College.
The rest of the day was spent playing games and doing activities – student vs. staff basketball, a chess tournament, a longest kick competition, an inflatable obstacle course, cooking pancakes, playing Minecraft, and the exceedingly popular dunk tank! Today had something for everyone, and raised an incredible amount for charity towards the Salesian Missions.
