ACC Soccer

Year 8B Soccer- The year 8B soccer boys played in the final for division 2 soccer against the strongest side all year in Mazenod College. The boys were very excited and very happy to get to the final but obviously they wanted to get the final result to finish the season off well. The boys started slow with being 1-0 down at half time. Mr. Bentley was away due to other commitments, Mr. Azar and Mr. Loonstra took over the reign. They made a few changes to change the momentum and it took until around 10 minutes in the match left for Salesian to score. It was 1-1 and there wasn’t much time. The boys were now playing with tremendous skill and effort. They had that momentum and scored very quickly with winning the game and winning the final 3-1. Well done to Mazenod College on a good effort to make it to the final and were really resilient through the whole match. A special mention to Mr. Bentley, who would have loved to be there yesterday. Mr. Azar and Mr. Loonstra as well for the last minute coaching role for the 8B soccer boys. Well done boys and hopefully this momentum and winning culture can go into next year.
