9A Soccer
We had our first game for 9A soccer this week on Tuesday. We had to bring the game that was scheduled for term 2 for term 1 due to staff professional learning on the first day back. All the boys were very excited to start the season off. We played St Bede’s (Mentone) at Bentleigh Greens Soccer Club. We had a very strong start to the game with a 6-0 half time score Salesian’s way. St Bede’s (Mentone), were very competitive and especially finishing 2nd last year they played extremely well. Just shows the depth the 9A soccer boys have. The boys had their first win for the season with finishing the game 11-1. Amongst the best players were Jack Peluso, Nick Grillo and Josh Athas. Harly Caimakamis finished with the most goals for the day with 3. Congratulations to the boys, they should be very proud of how they represented the school on Tuesday. Well done boys!
