This year’s International Women’s Day was celebrated in collaboration with Avila College. Our Student Leadership team began the day at Avila with their annual International Women’s Day Breakfast, with guest speaker Jessica Box, Head of Growth for Linktree and Managing Director of nonprofit Girls in Tech.
Later today, Avila School Captains joined us at Salesian for a very special lunch, with guest speaker Tiwi Islander and Central Desert Miyartiwi/Anmatjere Clan Woman and Educator, Helen Christensen.
Today we reflect on this year’s theme of International Women’s Day and work together to #breakthebias. We thank both Jessica and Helen for the wisdom they imparted today.
