2022 VCE/Applied Learning Booklists

Salesian College aims to provide students with the highest quality education. One component of this endeavour is the provision of excellent resources. Significant time has been spent in sourcing and trialing various contemporary learning tools for inclusion in 2022.

Students completing VCE / Applied Learning subjects in 2022 will receive confirmation of their subjects on Tuesday 5 October.

The VCE Unit 1 – 4 and Applied Learning Booklists are now available. You can access these via PAM (Knowledge Bank > Subject Selection > 2022 Booklists) or via direct link on the College Website. All orders are to be completed online at www.campion.com.au. To ensure learning resources are ready for the pre-packaged delivery service ahead of the 2022 Headstart Program, please ensure booklists are completed by Friday 15 October.

Edrolo
In Units 3 & 4, Edrolo is a compulsory resource that will be utilised in all of the subjects that are supported by this product. Fortunately, it is available for most of the Unit 3 & 4 subjects we offer here at the College. Edrolo is an extensive study and exam revision resource designed by experienced VCE teachers, exam assessors and textbook authors. It provides comprehensive and up-to-date online video lectures and step-by-step worked examples from past exams. Edrolo also includes interactive quizzes which can help students understand, clarify and revise the content which is presented in the classroom. Where Edrolo is available for a Unit 3 & 4 sequence, it is listed under the Subject on the Booklist.

Several Unit 1 & 2 subjects will also be utilising the Edrolo digital resources as their prescribed textbook. This is listed under the Subject where applicable. Payment for Edrolo subscriptions is via the Edrolo Payment Portal. Please find further details on paying via this portal below.

Please note that the digital bundles need to be paid up-front with all hard copy books to ensure students have access to digital resources from day one of the 2022 school year. We believe that the inclusion of these exciting resources will continue to foster the vibrant learning environment we have here at Salesian College.

Should you have any queries or concerns, please contact the College.

Yours sincerely,

Ms Irene Apostolopoulos
Director of Curriculum

How do I pay via the Edrolo Payment Portal for my child’s access?

Payment must be made for Edrolo via the online Edrolo Payment Portal. As your child will be using Edrolo as a key resource in the subscribed subjects, please ensure payment is made as early as possible to ensure minimal disruption to their all-important studies. Payments can be made online through your child’s Edrolo account from November 8 onwards.

If payment has not been received by or prior to December 10, your child will be blocked from accessing all of their Edrolo courses until the balance has been paid in full (no later than March 14, 2022). Please ensure payment is made by this date, as your child will have homework and classwork to complete on Edrolo through Term 4 and the summer break. As soon as account payment has been made, access to all courses will be restored.

Please see below for instructions on how your child can activate their Edrolo account in order to access the Payment Portal to complete payment.

Activate Your Child’s Edrolo Account
If your child used Edrolo in 2021, their account will be active and you can log in with them as normal to pay through the Payment Portal as per Step 6 below. If your child is new to Edrolo, please follow the instructions below first.

2. Enter your child’s surname and check that it recognises their correct first name
3. Enter their school email address and choose a secure password that they will remember
4. Click ‘Let me in’

6. Once you have signed into their account, click on the “Pay now” button in the top right-hand corner of your screen and follow the prompts.

Didn’t receive the confirmation email? Double-check your spam/junk folder. If not there, please head back to the link in step one and try again (you may have mistyped your email address).
