Mathematics Student Reflection

On Friday in Maths, we were prompted to play a game with each other. We all created accounts and proceeded to play a game together, with the entire class participating. It went for a while, and with every round a new burst of chatter and collaboration started about how to win the game and what we could do to stop others from winning. Whilst we were developing strategies, problem solving and working together, different groups splintered off to focus on their own interests and strategies, almost like a little subsection of society. At the end of the game, the ‘good guys’ ultimately ended up winning. Even now, there are still conversations on what could’ve been.
