Our Oratory Year 7 and 11 Mentoring Program aims to recreate an Oratory spirit within our context at Salesian College Chadstone. The program recognises that starting high school can be daunting. For our Year 7s, getting to know a friendly senior student has the potential to make a real positive impact on their high school experience. In turn, our Year 11 students have the opportunity to develop their leadership skills, and share their knowledge and experience with the next generation of Salesian men.
On Friday 25 June, our Year 7 and 11 students enjoyed an Oratory ‘Trivia’ session, where they worked together to answer trivia questions. It was wonderful to celebrate the end of Term Two with this enjoyable activity, and to see our students build friendships across year levels.
