Subject Selection
In light of COVID-19 and the Government’s social distancing requirements, we are unable to host our annual Subject Selection Information and Expo Night. Therefore, we had have to find alternate ways of distributing our subject selection information while still providing opportunities for students and parents/guardians to ask questions and seek advice before making their subject selection decisions.
2022 Subject Selection Information will be facilitated via:
- Subject Selection Handbooks
- Subject Selection Year Level Videos
- Lunchtime Q&A Sessions for students on 23-24 June
- Remote Q&A Session via Microsoft Teams for Students and Parents/Guardians on Tuesday 22 June

Please note that the formal process of selecting subjects using the Web Preferences system will begin on Tuesday 13 July and close at 4.00pm on Friday 30 July. Students will soon receive an email containing their Web Preferences login details, as well as further information about the practicalities of subject selection.
On a number of occasions throughout Semester 1, the requirements for gaining access to particular subjects at Years 10-12 have been made available to all members of the College community. A copy of this document is also available on SIMON/PAM. Please note that students who have not met the requirements as set out in this document will be restricted from selecting those subjects for 2021. Parents/guardians who feel that compelling circumstances apply are invited to assist their son in completing the Subject Appeal Form that is also located on SIMON/PAM. For reasons which will be outlined in the Year-level specific videos, appeals will certainly not be successful if there is a substantial difference between a student’s achievement and the subject requirement. Any Appeal Forms must be completed and returned to Student Reception by 9.00am on Monday 19 July.
