Autumn Concert

On Monday this week we held our Performing Arts Autumn Concert. Our theme of “Flight” was inspired by the Centenaries celebrated by both Qantas and the RAAF recently.

Although audience numbers were limited due to restrictions, the atmosphere was fantastic, as parents, teachers and students were treated to a vast selection of talent. Students across all year groups were represented in a number of ensembles, including our Vocal Ensemble, Stage Band, Concert Band, String Orchestra, Junior Wind Ensemble, Guitar Ensemble, Junior/Intermediate & Senior Rock Bands.

One of the many highlights of the evening came from the Year 7s. After only learning instruments and vocal studies over the last four months, they produced fantastic groups including; Strings, Concert Band, Mega Rock Band and Class Vocal from 7A, 7B, 7C and 7F. A big congratulations to them all.

Our two compères were Jordan Ratumu our Cultural Ambassador and Robert Kosta McCance, who both did a wonderful job guiding us through the program. Our students were also represented in our stage Crew, sound and lighting teams, demonstrating excellent support towards their fellow students.

All in all, a great night enjoyed by our College community!
