When children and teenagers experience anxiety, in addition to impacting almost every aspect of their lives, it creates challenges for the whole family. It’s difficult for parents to know how to respond, how they can help and when to seek professional support. In this engaging and insightful presentation, Jodi helps parents develop key insights into what lies at the heart of anxiety, the psychological and emotional impact of anxiety and how to respond to a highly anxious child or teen. She also teaches practical strategies that calm an anxious brain and body, reduce worry and support parents to lovingly move anxious kids forward to engage in school and actively participate in their lives.

Extensive study and personal experience enable Jodi to speak right to the heart of family issues surrounding anxiety. Her knowledge, empathy and candour make parents feel like she’s part of the family, or a caring friend who really understands them and just wants what’s best for them.

Jodi promises an engaging, skills-rich seminar full of actionable steps and take-home ideas.
