2021 Booklists

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Salesian College aims to provide students with the highest quality education. One component of this endeavour is the provision of excellent resources. Significant time has been spent in sourcing and trialling various contemporary learning tools for inclusion in 2021.

Students completing VCE subjects in 2021 will receive confirmation of their subjects on Friday 9 October.

The VCE Unit 1 – 4 and Applied Learning Booklists are now available. You can access these via PAM (Knowledge Bank, Subject Selection, 2021 Booklists) or via the below links. All orders are to be completed online at Campion via this link. To ensure learning resources are ready for the pre-packaged delivery service ahead of the 2021 Headstart Program, please ensure booklists are completed by Friday 16 October.

VCE Unit 1-4 Booklist can be accessed here.

Applied Learning Booklist can be accessed here.

In Units 3 & 4, Edrolo is a compulsory resource that will be utilised in all of the subjects that are supported by this product. Fortunately, it is available for most of the Unit 3 & 4 subjects we offer here at the College. Edrolo is an extensive study and exam revision resource designed by experienced VCE teachers, exam assessors and textbook authors. It provides comprehensive and up-to-date online video lectures and step-by-step worked examples from past exams. Edrolo also includes interactive quizzes which can help students understand, clarify and revise the content which is presented in the classroom. The full list of subjects offered by Edrolo are listed in the VCE Units 1 – 4 Booklist. Please select all of the Unit 3 & 4 subjects that your son will undertake to ensure access to this most valuable resource.

We are pleased to inform you that costs associated with the resources we have included on the booklist have remained consistent with this year. Please note that the digital bundles need to be paid up-front with all hard copy books to ensure students have access to digital resources from day one of the 2021 school year. As with any financial commitment, we ask you to contact the finance office at the College if there are any issues with regard to meeting this financial commitment. Every effort will be made to support families who find themselves in difficult financial circumstances. We believe that the inclusion of these exciting resources will continue to foster the vibrant learning environment we have here at Salesian College.

Should you have any queries or concerns, please contact the College.

Yours sincerely,

Ms Irene Apostolopoulos
Director of School Improvement – Curriculum
