ACC Swimming
We won! The boys were fantastic last night, and we had some awesome performances across the board. We dominated from start to finish, winning the U13, U14, U15 and Senior age groups. We also took home the Junior, Intermediate and Senior Cups along with the overall Division 2 Title. A special mention must be made of the Year 12 boys who were fantastic leaders for us. We are extremely glad to have experienced success in their last year at the College. A big thank you to Mr Loonstra and Mr Cox for all their help with Swimming training. Well done to all boys who swam last night.
Senior Sport
Cricket – We had a great win against St Joseph’s FTG, passing their score of 7/90 in 17 overs. Standout performers were Sam Loiacono (39), Tom Cashman (25* & 2/12), Jacob Curry (0 & 2/14) and Prajay Paramesh (17 & 2/14).
Tennis – Unfortunately, Whitefriars were too strong for us, defeating us 11 sets to 1. Our best players were Ricky Phung, Josh Eames and Jack Johnson.
Volleyball – A tough 2 sets to 1 loss for us against CBC St Kilda in the A’s means that we are now out of finals contention. Our best players were Adan Sieng, Patrick Vu and Rob Amendola. The B’s were victorious 2 sets to 1, with Bevan Ung, Owen Plionis and Josh Dean our best performers.
