“To finish off the Year 7 History unit on Ancient Egypt, we had an exhibition for our board games that we created for our final assessment. We got to look at everyone else’s board games they made and teach others about ours. We bonded with people we normally wouldn’t talk to very much and overall it was a very enjoyable day and assignment. We all started off the assignment answering five research questions about Ancient Egypt and then putting them together with our groups to answer the questions. Then we created the design for the game, the rules and our proposal for the game. We finally finished with making the game and the pieces to finally present them to the year level.”
