Intermediate Sport

Year 10 Cricket – The boys went down in a tough loss to St Bede’s. After making 4/107 (20), St Bede’s managed to chase the runs easily, only losing 1 wicket in 16 overs. Tom Cashman was our standout performer, hitting 50* and taking our only wicket. Tom Ison also chipped in with 22 runs.

Year 10 Tennis – A disappointing start to the season, losing to Mazenod 2-45 to 10-90. Our best players were Schron Satheesh, Shanelle Algama and Ricky Phung.

Year 10 Volleyball – The A’s and the B’s both went down in straight sets against St Bede’s. Owen Plionis, Jack Nenos and Jay Rossington were our best players for the A’s, while Dean Koutsikos, Thomas Valle and Chris Kaltsis were our best players for the B’s.

Year 9 Tennis – Our only win for the day, defeating St Joseph’s FTG 9-59 to 3-29. Our best players were Dilenne Algama, Dom Colantuono and Tom Scown.

Year 9 Volleyball – Both teams lost 2 sets to 1 after each claiming the first set against St Joesph’s FTG. Aris Polychronopoulos, Jackson O’Meara and Ash Curry were our best players for the A’s, and Narichard Chann, Emannuel Louis and Maiki Giannakopoulos were our best for the B’s.

Junior Sport

Year 8 Cricket – We had a great start to the season, defeating Mazenod 8/159 (20) to 5/125 (20). Our standout performers included Jack Iverson and Harrison Elustondo who both hit 32*, as well as Gus Roach and Brendan Russo who hit 16 and 14* respectively. Ethan Paul, Lachie McFarlane and Lachie Eames each claimed 1 wicket each.

Year 8 Tennis – A decent performance, but unfortunately we went down to Mazenod 4-39 to 8-57. Our best players were David James, Nimal Valanki and Avellino Jones.

Year 8 Volleyball – A rough start to the season with both teams going down in straight sets to a strong Mazenod team. Harry Chetwin, Kai Peterson and Toby Fenton were our best players for the A’s, while Chris Petkaris, Ben Bawden and Jack Scalzi were our best for the B’s.

Year 7 Cricket – An awesome performance by the boys, managing to chase down St Bede’s 4/82 total in the second last over of the day. Milan Panjetta (25*), Lucas Jones (23) and Ronit Rehal (17) all batted well. Milan, Ronit, Dylan Rayen and Will Thurston each managed to claim 1 wicket.

Year 7 Tennis – Unfortunately it was a 12 sets to love loss for us against St Bede’s. Julian Metsios, Nathan Hrambanis and Ben Green were our best players.

Year 7 Volleyball – A fantastic start to the term with both of our teams defeating St Bede’s 3-0. Our best players in the A’s were Andrew Tan, Ben Yang and Lachlan Namdarian, while our best in the B’s were Luca Mandile, Jun Lee and Jamieson Ly.
