Cross Country
On Wednesday, we travelled to Bundoora Park to compete in the ACC Cross Country Championships. We had a fantastic day, taking home a number of trophies and pennants. We won the Junior, Intermediate and Senior cups, also managing to win the U/13, U/14, U/15, U/16 and U/17 races for Division 2. We also managed to win the Division 2 championship, meaning that we secured promotion to Division 1 for next year.
There were a number of terrific individual performances on the day, including Christian Moraes (U/13), Peter Holland (U/14) and Daniel Amendola (U/15) who each finished first out of all Division 2 schools for their race.
All of our boys ran extremely well, and we would like to thank them for their efforts. A special thank you to Mr Scott Peacock and Mr Dan Campisano, who gave up their time in the mornings to run training.

Junior Sport
Year 7A Basketball – Unfortunately, we went down by 2 points in the grand final against St Bede’s. The boys played very well, coming back from 14 points down in the second half, to almost getting over the line.

Year 7 Hockey – A terrific season, but we ultimately came undone in the grand final, losing 0-7 against a talented St Bernard’s outfit. Well done to the boys on a fantastic term.

Year 8D Basketball – The boys finished off an awesome term with a 49-35 win over Whitefriars in the grand final! We stayed in control all game, and the boys deserve the win after working hard all season.
