Junior Sport
Year 7 Basketball A – We maintain our undefeated run this season, with a 45-34 win over Parade. Our best players were Jun Lee, Calvin Ramachandran and Christian Moraes. Our Grand Final is against St Bede’s next week, good luck boys!
Year 7 Basketball B – A tough 36-61 loss against Parade. Our best players were Derick Maimarosia, Bailey Fanton and Patrick Karamanavis. We will play Parade again next week for 5th place.
Year 7 Hockey – A 5-0 victory over Parade sees us through to the Grand Final next week against St Bernard’s. We wish the boys the best of luck!
Year 7 Table Tennis – Unfortunately a 4-21 to 11-54 loss against Parade means that we just missed out on the Grand Final. Zidane Heldt, Andrew Tan and Will Thurston were our best players. We will take on Mazenod next week in a 3rd place playoff.
Year 8 Basketball A – We had a nail-biting win over Mazenod, winning 61-60. We will take on St Joseph’s for a 5th place playoff next week.
Year 8 Basketball B – Unfortunately we went down against Parade in a Semi-Final 53-42. The boys will take on St Bede’s next week in a playoff for 3rd place.
Year 8 Basketball C – We defeated Mazenod 56-43 but unfortunately we missed out on the Grand Final by 0.11%. We play St Bernard’s next week in a playoff for 3rd place.
Year 8 Basketball D – A comfortable 58-23 win over Mazenod sees us through to the Grand Final against Whitefriars next week, good luck boys!
Year 8 Hockey – A tough loss in the Semi-Final to De La Salle, going down 1-8. We will play Whitefriars next week in a battle for 3rd place.
Year 8 Table Tennis – A close win over St Bernard’s 8-47 to 7-28. We will play off for 5th place next week against Emmanuel.
