This week, the Salesian College school community celebrated Science Week!
We began the week with a staff morning tea, with thanks to our Science faculty members for bringing plates to share. A special mention must be made of Ms Apostolopoulos, who baked this incredible ‘moon’ cake!
Throughout the week, our students enjoyed educational lunchtime Science activities, hosted by our Science staff members. On Tuesday, Mr Khambete demonstrated a chemical reaction experiment in our ‘Mad Scientist’ session, and Fr Cantamessa assisted our students to build their very own rockets. At lunchtime on Friday, we will be launching our rockets. Let’s hope the wind conditions are right! Thank you to our Science Department for facilitating our ‘Science Week’ celebrations.
