On Thursday 18 July, the Semester 1 Food Technology classes used our knowledge and skills to make a three coarse meal, with the help and guidance of our Food Technology teachers.
At the lunch I was in charge of making the hot beverages, such as tea and coffee. I made several coffees for each individual. I really enjoyed meeting the elderly guests who I was making coffee for. I also served chocolates, discovering that most of our guests had a sweet tooth!
My favourite part about this experience was getting to see the elderly people so happy and enjoying themselves and their food. Witnessing their joy made me feel very happy because I was able to contribute to it. Furthermore, I also enjoyed learning how to make a nice coffee!
