In partnership with Sacred Heart College, Salesian College Chadstone proudly presents our 2019 Production ‘Dimboola’.
Dimboola plays out the wedding reception from hell, and is a celebration as much as a satire. The play joyously takes a familiar ritual and turns it uproariously on its head. A classic of modern Australian theatre, the play concerns the marriage between a Protestant groom, a Catholic bride and their respective families. The audience are the invited guests at the reception where there will be food, beverages, singing and dancing. The play will be performed in Salesian College Hall with the audience sat at tables and provided with some fabulous 1960s/1970s Australian cuisine.
