“During the Business Management Incursion, the Unit 1/2 cohort participated in a presentation led by the CEO and Managing Director of Patterson Cheney Cars & Trucks, Cameron Bertalli. Throughout the course of the presentation, we got to hear about Cameron’s business ventures and his journey through diligence and determination to be better, enforcing our knowledge about the key characteristics about businesses. During the day, students were encouraged to ask questions, learning about the key characteristics of a business and how one operates a business.
Learning about Cameron’s experience gave the Year 11s quite a valuable understanding of the business environment and how it can be implemented in our studies. The stories Cameron shared were also quite a valuable part of the presentation as students gained an insight as to how by having the right attitude, you can accomplish great things as a business owner.”
