Duke of Edinburgh Award Student Reflection

In 2018 I undertook the Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award, with my assessor being Mr. Hayes. The award is recognized internationally and consists of four parts that require hard work and dedication. These four parts are Community Service, Sport, Skills and Adventure. Throughout the year, I sacrificed hours of my spare time each week to complete these sections, in order to achieve the award that I was aiming for. I not only enjoyed doing this, but I also learnt more about myself. The reason I wanted to share this reflection with our community is because I strongly encourage everyone who is thinking of doing the award or does Outdoor Education to participate. It is a great opportunity to experience more of our school and the world outside of school too.

Thank you for reading.
