Building Progress

The new Student Services, Learning Support and Administration building is progressing well with the slab for the second floor being poured on Monday 29 October. This is a milestone in the new building program as multiple trades can now access the ground floor previously too dangerous to occupy due to overhead steel work. Soon the roof will be in place allowing work on both floors simultaneously and reducing weather related delays. The old building is currently waiting for its structural steel reinforcement to arrive so that walls can be knocked down allowing for larger open spaces. The size and shape of the new building is now visible creating many positive comments from the school community who are looking forward to some of the architectural aspects of the building becoming apparent.
