Small gestures can often have a big impact. We were incredibly grateful to receive messages from farmers in drought stricken parts of Australia, who received the Anzac biscuits and messages of support sent by our Food Technology students. “I have just returned from a drought policy meeting where your amazing Anzac biscuits were served! Please pass on our sincerest and heartfelt thanks to each and every one of your wonderful students. Your school has rallied in the true Aussie Anzac spirit that makes Australia such a wonderful country”, wrote Scott.
Thanks also to Calli, a farmer near Tamworth NSW who sent in a photo of her sheep, as requested by Ben W in Year 9.
