Year 9 Basketball is into their second week of competition, unfortunately both the A & B team are yet to have a win.
Year 9 Table Tennis started off against a tough Mazenod side in Week 1 and were unlucky in their loss to St Bede’s this week.
Year 9 Hockey have yet to get a win but have had two tough losses in two weeks. The team lost 3-1 to Mazenod and 4-3 to St Bede’s.
Year 10 Basketball are yet to win this season with their first two games against tough opponents in Parade College and De La Salle College.
Year 10 Table Tennis won their first game against St Joseph’s Ferntree Gully last week, but lost to a strong Simonds side this week.
Year 10 Hockey have started the season undefeated, beating St Joseph’s Ferntree Gully 4-1 & CBC St Kilda 3-2.
Senior
Senior Basketball: The A team are yet to win a game this season but have come very close in their first two games. The B team won their first game by 9 points but unfortunately lost this week.
Senior Table Tennis: The team started strong by winning their first game against St Joseph’s Ferntree Gully, but were extremely unlucky not to win this week against Simonds College.
Senior Hockey: Have started the season undefeated, beating St Joseph’s Ferntree Gully 3-0 & CBC St Kilda 2-1.
Junior
Year 7 Basketball: The A team started their season with a convincing 47-25 win against St Joseph’s Ferntree Gully, unfortunately the B team lost 33-21.
Year 7 Table Tennis: Had a strong start, beating St Joseph’s Ferntree Gully by 14 sets.
Year 7 Hockey: The team started off strong defeating St Joseph’s Ferntree Gully 4-0.
Year 8 Basketball: The A team lost their first game but bounced back this week with a win. The B team won their first game last week but unfortunately lost this week.
Year 8 Table Tennis: Unfortunately lost their first game but had a big win against St Bernard’s this week.
Year 8 Hockey: The team goes into the season as defending champions and started the season with a 5-2 win against St Joseph’s Ferntree Gully. This week was the grand final rematch, which unfortunately resulted in a 1-0 win to St Bede’s.
