School camps provide children with inspiring experiences in the great outdoors, excursions encourage a deeper understanding of how the world works, and sports teach teamwork, discipline and leadership. All are part of a healthy curriculum.
The CSEF will be provided by the Victorian Government to assist eligible families to cover the costs of school trips, camps and sporting activities. The annual CSEF amount per eligible student is $225 for secondary school students. The College will reduce the family’s fees by this amount. As an added incentive to apply, if you qualify for the CSEF, the College will further reduce your fees by $265 resulting in a total of a $490 ($225 + 265) reduction in school fees.
If you hold a valid means-tested concession card, or are a temporary foster parent, you may be eligible for CSEF. A special consideration category also exists for asylum seeker and refugee families.
Please contact the finance office to obtain a CSEF application form, or download from www.education.vic.gov.au/csef and return it by 31 March 2018.
