Michael Grose

Michael Grose attended Salesian College from 1968 to 1973. During his time at Salesian, he represented the College in Athletics, Debating, and Cricket, and was Captain of the College Football Team during Year 12. Michael completed a Diploma of Primary Teaching, and taught in several government primary schools, where he experienced teaching students from a variety of backgrounds. Michael completed a Masters of Educational Studies at Monash University in the mid 1980’s, and left teaching in 1993 to establish his own parent education consultancy.

He is now a highly respected parenting educator, and the first to conduct a parenting seminar for Federal politicians at Parliament House in Canberra. Michael has been providing support and advice to parents for decades through his books, seminars, parent courses and newspaper columns. He has authored several parenting books, including ‘Why First Borns Rule the World, and Last Borns Want to Change It’. He is a regular commentator on television and radio, and was also the News Limited Body and Soul Parenting Columnist.

Michael is married to Sue, and has three children.
