Leadership and Governance

Salesian College Chadstone is a public company limited by guarantee that was established to take over the operations of the unincorporated college from 1 January 2021. The College’s Board of Directors is responsible for the governance of the College. Ownership remains with  the Salesians of Don Bosco (legally known as the Salesian Society Incorporated (VIC)).

The Salesians of Don Bosco

Although responsibility for governance of the College shifted from the Salesians from 1 January 2021, the College retains the Charter for Salesian Schools which outlines the Salesian charism and mission. The Members (comprising the Provincial and Provincial Council of the Salesian Society) have reserved powers in relation to some matters such as appointment of Directors and approval of major developments.
