Changing the Story for our Young People: Parent/Carer Seminar

Our Students Present:

Changing the Story for our Young People- A Parent/Carer Seminar

Students from across our network of schools, with the help of Glenn Manton present to you this opportunity to explore how and why we need to start a conversation about Respectful Relationships in our homes and workplaces, not just our classrooms.

Glenn Manton is author, media personality, youth advocate, professional speaker and ex AFL Premiership player at Essendon and Carlton football clubs.

We are part of a network of schools committed to delivering a whole school approach to respectful relationships. We understand that teaching relationship skills through social and emotional learning and respectful relationships programs improves academic outcomes (Helen Cahill- University of Melbourne).

(Our Schools Network (Respectful Relationships Community of Practice) includes:

• Salesian College
• Avila College
• Mazenod College
• Sacred Heart Girls’ College
• Emmaus College
• Mount Waverley North Primary

Our community partners include:

•Monash Council
•Gateway LLEN
•Link Health and Community

The Monash Respectful Relationships Community Conversations Series provides a platform for you to share your thoughts and experiences, and access resources and expertise on how we can assist young people to develop essential life and learning skills, so that they may establish heathy and meaningful relationships in all aspects of their lives.  Help us create a culture of respect throughout our community.

Join Glenn and students in starting this conversation together.
