Year 10 Respectful Relationships Forum

At the Year 10 Respectful Relationships Forum on Monday 10 September, we participated in many activities including two workshops with various guest speakers and organisations, who spoke about the chosen themes we had for the day, including alcohol, being Street Smart, and gender stereotypes. There was also a world café at the end of the forum, which included various questions we had to answer in groups about our chosen topics.

I enjoyed doing the gender roles and expectations workshop the most because we did many engaging and interactive activities to get us thinking about why people don’t have to be what they’re told to be, and that there are more genders than we knew about.

The most important thing I learnt at the forum is that trust is the number one quality you can have in any relationship with any person.
