Parents’ Association

The Cabaret Night showcases the wonderful musical talent we have in the Salesian Community and provides a fantastic opportunity for families to enjoy a night of live entertainment. The PA provides the hospitality and catering so the cost of tickets can be kept very low.

In 2017, many parents, staff and students remarked that our 12th Annual Cabaret Night was the best musical performance they had seen at Salesian. Performances of show tunes, the Beatles, Tom Petty and even a lively rendition of ‘Ghetto Superstar’ from our talented staff and student acts ensured that the College Hall was packed. It was great to see so many parents cheering on their sons, and proudly taking photos.

The Parents’ Association served an array of delicious food and beverages to over 150 guests on the night! While a small price is charged for tickets to the Cabaret Night, this is greatly subsidised by funds from the Parents’ Association Fundraising Levy. Paying the levy allows us to facilitate valuable community events such as the Cabaret Night for your whole family to enjoy.

Stay tuned for more information on this year’s Cabaret Night, to be held on Friday 12 October.

The PA is looking forward to serving up a delicious breakfast to the Salesian Dads next Friday 31 August at our annual Father’s Day Mass and Breakfast.  By all accounts, this event is shaping up to break all attendance records and we can’t wait to see you all there!
