On Friday 20 July, 11 Italian students from Years 7 and 8 participated in an Italian Poetry Recital Competition.
They eagerly recited their poems to the adjudicators, Miss Barcellona and Mrs Salemme, who were amazed at their level of fluency and passion. Although a little nervous at first, the boys faced the challenge and were rewarded with a sense of achievement, an appreciation of Italian poetry and not to mention a delicious pizza lunch.
